Repertoire

Dmitry Rachmanov has appeared at venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall, Washington DC’s Kennedy Center, London’s Barbican and South Bank Centres, and Beijing Concert Hall. Hailed as an “indisputable musician” by the Brussels’ Le Soir and “suave and gifted pianist” by the New York Times, Rachmanov has been active as a soloist and a chamber musician, exploring a wide range of repertoire. His performances have featured sonata cycles by Beethoven, Schubert and Scriabin, and he has recorded albums of works by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and Prokofiev for Naxos, Master Musicians, Omniclassic and Vista Vera labels. Rachmanov has collaborated with the Manhattan Philharmonia, London Soloists Chamber Orchestra, Orlando Symphony, Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Ukraine National Symphony, National Orchestra of Porto, among others. Rachmanov is a graduate of The Juilliard and Manhattan School of Music. He serves as chair of the keyboard department at California State University at Northridge.
